The BioBrace implant is the first biocomposite scaffold cleared by the FDA. The novel biocomposite architecture features a porous collagen sponge reinforced with PLLA microfilaments. Clinical use includes the augmentation of rotator cuff repair, ACL reconstruction, and extra-articular tendon and ligament repair. This session reviews the basic science rationale of the implant and the clinical experience of the presenters.
