Fixing the Weak Link: Bone-to-Tendon Healing with EnFix™ Demineralized Bone Fiber Implants

Moderators: Nikhil Verma, MD; Ferdinand "Tito" Liotta, MD

Tendon does not attach to bone - you just get scar tissue. EnFix's demineralized bone fiber implants generate new bone through a process of endochondral ossification that causes the bone to reattach to the tendon recreating the enthesis. We will discuss the science, the surgical technique and six-month results of rotator cuff repair using the EnFix implant.
